Following undergraduate training in Psychology at Stellenbosch University in 2011, I completed a Psychometry Internship under the supervision of a Psychologist in the Western Cape Department of Education, whilst also completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I worked as a high school teacher (teaching Afrikaans and Life Orientation) in a school in the Western Cape in 2013.

I completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) in 2014. During this time, I was trained in various modalities of psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological assessment.

I was based at the Elizabeth Donkin Psychiatric Hospital and Livingstone Hospital for my clinical internship, where I worked predominantly with individuals who needed hospitalisation for mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use and suicidal behaviour.

As a Community Service Clinical Psychologist, I was employed by the City of Cape Town and worked at four specialised health clinics with clients dealing with HIV and/or TB and comorbid psychiatric conditions.

I am registered with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist in Independent Practice, and I am registered to practice with the Board of Health Care Funders (BHF). I am also a member of the following associations:
